The Manscaping Playbook

Trim down there without the drama. Your free guide for a smooth, safe, nick-free finish.

  1. Never use a beard trimmer below the belt. Sharp, exposed teeth made for thick hair = nicks and tugs. Use a SkinSafe rounded head built for sensitive skin.
  2. Trim dry first, finish wet. Take the length down dry, then a final pass in the shower for a close, comfortable finish.
  3. Pull the skin taut. Loose skin catches. Hold it flat and go slow on the sensitive bits.
  4. Go with the grain first. Less irritation. Only go against the grain for a closer finish once it's already short.
  5. Rinse and dry fully. Trapped moisture causes irritation. Pat dry, don't rub.
  6. Beat ingrowns: exfoliate gently twice a week, and never trim bone-dry.
  7. Clean your blades after every use. It's fully waterproof — rinse it, let it dry. Hygiene = no bumps.
  8. Charge it monthly and forget about it. Around 50 minutes per charge.
